Today I'd like to spotlight the cute new boots I got last week. When I was in New York a few weeks ago, I really got hit over the head with the boho NYC look-- cute summer dresses and "mini" cowboy boots. So of course after getting back to LA I had to find my own vegan version.
I settled on a pair from Alloy and have been pleasantly surprised. The "leather" is of fairly decent quality, not that fake suede that I think usually looks so awful and lasts for about three days...
Anyway, the boot is fairly comfortable and I think from a distance you would never know the difference. I've already gotten complements on them. The website also has them in dark brown (tempted already to get a 2nd pair) and white.
Further searching also found these knee boots in a darker color.
As you've probably guessed by now I LOVE boots, so when I find a decent man-made pair I hold on to them forever, so I'm always on the look out for reinforcements.
